Accounting Genie
Hi I'm Genie. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 and since then I have worked in both the private and charity sectors. I trained at Price WaterhouseCoopers where I was a member of the Audit team, working with the Health & Safety Executive, Barclays Bank, University of Leeds and many other clients.
In the past few years, many of my friends have been setting up their own businesses, and everyone of them has told me they find doing their bookkeeping, accounts and tax returns a real headache. As I helped each friend, I realised I've begun to enjoy this side of accountancy more and more.
I've been told I have a flair for explaining the gobbledygook in plain English, and helping to take away the fear factor. And that's what I can do for you.

I've lived in the UK since I was 18 - I grew up in Argentina. I now live in West Yorkshire, with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bobby.
I like to work from home so I can spend as much time as possible with Bobby, but I'm always happy to visit clients at their place of work.
If you'd like to meet Bobby, I can bring him with me when I visit - you only have to ask!
