Hello I'm Genie,

I'm a Chartered Accountant with many years experience.

I provide accounting and tax services to individuals and small businesses, with turnover less than £1million. I'm based in Brighouse but cover a large area.

I offer out of hours meetings so you don't have to stop working to get your accounts and tax done.

More about Genie

I am a fully qualified and insured accountant, registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England & Wales). I did my training with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the early 2000's. I started in Audit, providing services to clients such as Leeds University, Barclays, and many more famous names you will have heard of. Then I progressed into accountancy in industry, working for General Electric and other household names. Later I worked in the charitable sector.

I started Accounting Genie as I wanted to work closer with my clients, I wanted to make a difference to those people who find accountancy and tax scary. I've been told I have a flair for explaining gobbledegook in plain English.

I particularly enjoy the relationships I form with my clients over the years, seeing their business grow and helping when there is a problem. Areas of accountancy I provide services to are varied have a look at my Prices page for more information.

Outside of my work I enjoy travel, South America is a favourite of mine having grown up in Argentina. I absolutely love animals and being in the countryside.
